      June 4, 2026 17:33 Economy The operator and real estate transaction platform Cian announced a partnership in combating phone fraud. The agreement was signed by MegaFon CEO Khachatur Pombukhchan and Cian CEO Dmitry Grigoryev during the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

      The key task of the collaboration is to protect users from potentially fraudulent calls, as well as schemes related to social engineering. Cian will provide the operator with anonymized data on trigger events: patterns of fraudulent calls, geography of threats, and peak activity times. MegaFon, in turn, will develop a custom solution to protect clients based on this information, big data, and its own expertise. This approach will allow for the adaptation of protective mechanisms to the specifics of the real estate market—unlike universal filters, the system will take into account behavioral markers characteristic of platform users.

      Alongside security issues, the parties are working on integrating modern authorization methods that will ensure seamless and maximally secure access to the Cian ecosystem.

      The companies have agreed to implement artificial intelligence tools to optimize communication with clients. The use of intelligent support and analytics systems will automate routine tasks, speed up request processing, and personalize the service.
