Violations identified during the construction of a housing project in Nizhny Novgorod.

      On June 3, 2026, at 16:20, the Prosecutor's Office of Nizhny Novgorod revealed violations of legislation regarding the contractual system during the construction of an apartment building in the Prioksky district. This was reported by the supervisory authority.

      The issue concerns a facility on 40 Years of Victory Street, which is being built as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

      The inspection was conducted regarding LLC SK "Vysotspecstroy." The supervisory authority established that the contractor had failed to meet the deadlines for contract execution. Currently, the contract has not been fulfilled, and the technical readiness of the building is 74%.

      The delay in construction affects the rights of citizens, as the building is intended for the resettlement of emergency housing stock.

      Following the inspection, the prosecutor submitted a proposal to the management of the construction company.

      The Prosecutor of Nizhny Novgorod, Igor Mokichev, personally visited the construction site to monitor compliance with the requirements of the supervisory authority. Together with representatives of the customer and the general contractor, he inspected the facility and discussed adherence to the deadlines for completing the work.

      It was previously reported that in 2026, the Nizhny Novgorod administration plans to resettle 25 emergency apartment buildings. Most of them have already been vacated.
