The repair of the new Borsky Bridge will start on June 3: where traffic will be restricted

      June 2, 2026 13:18 Society The repair of the new Bor Bridge and its approaches will start on June 3. This was reported by the NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" from the Main Department of Automobile Roads of the region. Work will begin on the section from km 6+563 to km 8+224. The main volume is planned to be carried out at night, and traffic will be organized on a narrowed roadway.

      After the completion of the first phase, specialists will move on to the renovation of another segment - from km 0+000 to km 2+637.

      According to the terms of the contract, all repair activities must be completed by June 30. It should be noted that the repair of the new Bor Bridge is being carried out to eliminate rutting and restore the pavement to its normative condition. The contractor will mill the worn asphalt concrete and lay a new top layer across the entire width of the roadway. The cost of the contract, concluded in June 2025, amounts to 179 million rubles.
