      June 2, 2026 17:29 Incidents The State Labor Inspectorate in the Nizhny Novgorod region is investigating the circumstances of a fatal accident in which two medical workers died. Recall that the tragedy occurred on the morning of May 31 on the 308th kilometer of the Riazhsk - Kasimov - Murom - Nizhny Novgorod highway in the Navashinsky district. A 52-year-old woman was driving a Lada Largus. She veered into the oncoming lane, lost control, and the car collided with a Volvo truck. As a result of the impact, the driver and her 47-year-old passenger died at the scene. It later became known that the victims of the accident were two female medical workers from the Vladimir region. Currently, the labor inspectorate is establishing all the circumstances of the incident and checking whether the accident could be related to the performance of their work duties by the deceased.
