Forward Mikhail Vorobyov has moved to Nizhny Novgorod's Torpedo.

Nizhny Novgorod's "Torpedo" has signed a contract with center forward Mikhail Vorobyov. The forward spent the last four seasons with SKA, where he was one of the team's most productive assist providers and scorers. In the past season, he played 53 games and earned 33 points (7+26). In total, he has 418 games and 201 points (66+135) in the KHL. He also spent three seasons in the Philadelphia Flyers system, playing in both the AHL and NHL. Over the years, the forward has been called up to the Russian national team for international matches and tournaments.

In our opinion, Mikhail is among the top three center forwards in the KHL, and we consider his joining our team a success. We believe he can become one of the new symbols of "Torpedo" and help the club achieve better results in its history, noted Torpedo's general director Evgeny Zabuga.

It was previously reported that forward Vasily Atanasov will continue his career with SKA. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
