Heating networks in two districts of Nizhny Novgorod will be tested under increased pressure.

      On June 1, 2026, at 15:13, Society In Nizhny Novgorod, from June 2 to June 6, scheduled hydraulic tests of the second and fifth phases of the main heating networks from the Nagornaya heat station of the Joint Utility Operator will take place. The inspection will affect pipelines in parts of the Nizhny Novgorod and Soviet districts. Work will be carried out on Belinsky, Gorky, Volodarsky, Zvezdinka, Kovalikhinskaya, Proviantskaya, Timiryazev, Baghramyan streets, and several others. During the tests, the temperature of the network water will be lowered to 40 degrees, while it will be supplied under increased pressure. This is necessary to identify defects in the pipelines and compensators. Such checks are conducted annually and are a mandatory diagnostic procedure. They allow for the early identification of weak spots and ensure reliable heating supply during the heating season. Based on the results of the tests, unreliable sections will be included in the repair program and replaced. It should be noted that similar tests were conducted in May on the networks from the Sormovskaya CHPP. They affected the Moskovsky, Kanavinsky, and Sormovsky districts.
