      June 1, 2026 15:49 Incidents Four passengers were injured in a traffic accident involving a bus in the Volodarsky district. The regional traffic police provided details of the incident. The accident occurred on June 1, around 12:30 PM on the 11th kilometer of the road from Dzerzhinsk to Volodarsk to Nizhny Novgorod. According to preliminary data, a 66-year-old woman driving a Hyundai crossed into the oncoming lane, where she collided head-on with a scheduled bus. The driver of the car died at the scene. As a result of the accident, four passengers of the public transport were also injured. They sustained injuries of varying severity. It was previously reported that the prosecutor's office of the Nizhny Novgorod region took control of establishing all the circumstances of the traffic accident in the Volodarsky district.
