The roads to children's camps in the Nizhny Novgorod region will be repaired in 2026.

      On May 31, 2026, at 10:29 AM, Society In 2026, the regional roads in the Nizhny Novgorod region will be put in order, along which children are transported to summer camps and recreation centers. The work will be carried out as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."

      As reported by the Main Department of Automobile Roads of the region, more than 1.5 billion rubles are allocated for these purposes. The total length of the sections providing access to summer recreation areas is 67 km.

      In the Kstovo district, the road "Access to the village of Gorny Borok - the village of Slobodskoye - the village of Dokukino," leading to the camp "Forest Tale," is being updated. On a section 14.2 km long, the contracting organization has already laid the leveling and top layers of asphalt concrete and equipped seven stopping areas.

      In the Uren district in the north of the region, the access road to the camp "Zvezdny" in the village of Karpunikh is being modernized. The repair will affect two sections of the road "B. Arya - B. Krasnogor - Sodomovo - B. Kozlyana - Karpunikh" with a total length of 15.6 km. On one of them, the asphalting is fully completed, while on the other, about half of the work on laying the leveling and top layers of the surface has been completed.

      In the Balakhna district, quality access to the camp "Dzerzhinets" will be ensured. Work is underway on the road "Access to the village of Galkino from the highway Shopsha - Ivanovo - Nizhny Novgorod," which is 5.5 km long.

      For the southeast region, the road "Vyksa - Voznesenskoye - Satis" is important. Here, two sections with a total length of 25.9 km are being repaired, located near the children's center "Koster" and the recreation camp "Lazurny" in the urban district of Vyksa.

      In the Lukoyanov district, 6.1 km of the highway "Nizhny Novgorod - Saratov" will be brought to regulatory condition on the section from 165 to 171 km. This route provides access to the recreation camp "Zhuravli" and the children's health and educational center named after Tanya Savicheva.
