More than 120 Nizhny Novgorod businessmen participated in the seminar "Honest Sign."

      More than 120 small and medium-sized enterprises participated in a training seminar on mandatory product labeling "Honest Sign". The event was organized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region in collaboration with the regional Assistance Center "Honest Sign". "Labeling issues today affect an increasing number of entrepreneurs, so it is important for businesses to stay informed about current changes in legislation, system requirements, and have the opportunity to receive clarifications directly from relevant agencies and experts. Such training events help entrepreneurs not only understand the practical aspects of working with the "Honest Sign" system but also avoid common mistakes in labeling and circulation of goods. In the Nizhny Novgorod Region, this work is carried out on an ongoing basis. We conduct in-person training events, organize business participation in federal webinars of the "Honest Sign" system, and also provide free consulting support through the regional Assistance Center "Honest Sign," noted the Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov. The seminar was attended by representatives of enterprises operating in the fields of radio electronics, motor oil and auto parts production, building materials and tire products, printing, food industry, including water, confectionery, and grocery producers, as well as companies producing cosmetics, perfumes, and home and interior goods. During the event, experts discussed the labeling algorithm for manufacturers and importers, the specifics of goods crossing the border considering labeling requirements, issues of issuing certificates of origin for goods within the framework of parallel imports, as well as practical aspects of working with customs warehouses when using the "Honest Sign" system. Speakers at the event included experts from the Labeling Center, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, the Nizhny Novgorod Customs, the regional office of Rospotrebnadzor, and LLC "Operator-CRPT". After the business program, entrepreneurs were able to receive individual consultations from representatives of relevant agencies and organizations on labeling, customs clearance, and consumer rights protection.
