Two Nizhny Novgorod projects won awards at the International Advertising and Marketing Communications Festival Silver Mercury.

      On May 29, the results of the 27th season of the International Advertising and Marketing Communications Festival Silver Mercury were announced in Moscow. Two projects from Nizhny Novgorod won awards at the prestigious competition. The authors of the projects were the teams of ANO "Center 800" and ANO TSURS, which reached the finals and successfully defended their applications in the field of communications before the experts. Thus, the project "Tour of Nizhny Novgorod Sunsets 2025" received "silver" and became the best in the nomination "Promotion of Territories," which recognizes projects aimed at creating a positive image and increasing the tourist or investment attractiveness of countries, regions, and cities. Let us remind you that as part of this project, April 24, 2025, was unofficially declared "Day of Nizhny Novgorod Sunsets." Videos of Nizhny Novgorod sunsets were shown on the main screens and billboards in New York, Dubai, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Samara, and Vladivostok. From the media surfaces, Nizhny Novgorod, holding the title of "Capital of Sunsets," invited residents of other regions to visit and enjoy the setting sun in reality. Each city received its own personalized address. The campaign became part of the large-scale promotional campaign of Nizhny Novgorod for 2025 titled "Everything is Real with Us." The project was implemented by ANO "Center 800" with the support of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The project "Metaverse 'Sporty Nizhny Novgorod'" received a bronze award in the nomination "Best Gamification," which recognizes projects where the brand uses gaming mechanics on its own platforms or integrates into existing gaming worlds. Originality of the idea, quality and thoughtfulness of the experience, visual execution, and effectiveness of the mechanics used are important. Nizhny Novgorod became the first city in Russia to create its own virtual world, making the metaverse a new communication channel with the young audience. Each user could play for one of the region's teams at the main sports and tourist sites in the cities and win a virtual club jersey for their character or a promo code for purchasing a ticket to a real match of HC "Torpedo," BC "Pari NN," and FC "Pari NN." An important role in promoting the project was played by the event program: events and themed matches of sports clubs integrated into the overall communication. This allowed linking the virtual product with real sports events and attracting children to real matches of the clubs. In just three months, the game was visited over 150,000 times. The project was implemented by ANO "Center 800," ANO TSURS, and the Ministry of Sports of the Nizhny Novgorod region. ANO "Center 800" has repeatedly been a laureate of the International Advertising and Marketing Communications Festival Silver Mercury. In 2025, the city of Arzamas received a silver award in the same nomination "Promotion of Territories." In 2024, the communication campaign of Nizhny Novgorod for 2021-2023 won "gold" in the nomination "Best Strategic Solution" and bronze as "Best PR Solution," while the project "Capital of Sunsets" received "bronze" in the nomination "Best Brand Creation Considering Local/Territorial Specifics." Now in the "trophy case" of awards - 1 "gold," 2 "silvers," and 3 "bronzes."

      Also, let us remind you that the project "Tour of Nizhny Novgorod Sunsets 2025" became the winner of the National Internet Content Award on May 28 and received an important award in 2025 at the prestigious international communication award PROBA Awards.
