      The 13th SberPrime Green Marathon took place in Nizhny Novgorod. More than 6,000 runners participated, including 870 children aged 4 to 13. The race gathered running enthusiasts of all ages and fitness levels. On the distances, one could see both experienced athletes honing their skills for years and novice runners deciding to test their strength in a mass race. In total, the event in the capital of the Volga region brought together over 12,000 people. "This year, Sber is celebrating its 185th anniversary. All these years, we have been uniting people through a common rhythm of kindness and movement. The Green Marathon has become one of the brightest embodiments of this rhythm. This year, we launched a special initiative. For every kilometer that a participant runs in the marathon, Sber donates 185 rubles to save the lives of children - wards of the charity fund 'Contribution to the Future.' The more kilometers, the more children's lives saved. It's a very simple and understandable mechanism: you run - good works. People come with their families, with children, with friends. For many, this has already become a tradition, as you don't need to be a professional - just the desire is enough. And the realization that their participation helps children adds depth and meaning to the event," noted Natalia Demina, head of the Nizhny Novgorod branch of Sberbank.

      Adult participants could choose one of two distances - 4.2 km or 10 km. All runners were able to enjoy the urban landscapes. The route ran along the picturesque embankment by the Volga River.

      The winner of the 10 km distance among men was Yegor Dedikov (1st place), among women - Victoria Anisimova (1st place), in the 4.2 km distance among men - Grigory Martynov (1st place), among women - Alexandra Rozhkova (1st place).

      A special route of 420 meters was prepared for young athletes. An additional sporting event was a master class in Nordic walking.

      "The Sber Green Marathon is a great event with a huge number of participants. Adults, children, entire families have been running for the 13th year in a row. Such races not only contribute to strengthening team spirit and forming a healthy corporate culture but also help develop physical culture in the region. It is especially valuable that the race is not only free but also charitable - for every kilometer participants run in all cities, Sber will donate funds to the charity. This once again proves Sber's high social responsibility. I also happily ran the distance.       One of the tracks of the Green Marathon was an inclusive start at a distance of 420 meters. More than 150 Nizhny Novgorod residents with disabilities and limited health capabilities participated - participants of the Nizhny Novgorod educational program "Leaders of Unlimited Opportunities," parents of special children, and active youth with disabilities.

      "The inclusive race symbolizes that mass sports are truly becoming open to everyone. When people with disabilities, families, students, entrepreneurs, and volunteers come together on the same distance, it is no longer just about sports, but about acceptance, support, and equal opportunities. Such events change society's attitude and help people believe that they are indeed needed, important, and can be part of a big team. We thank the Sber team. We would be happy to continue the partnership and develop an inclusive society together," emphasized Roman Ponomarenko, head of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Public Organization of Disabled People "Ark," deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, and regional coordinator of the party project "Unified Country - Accessible Environment."

      As part of the celebration, guests enjoyed a vibrant musical set from the headliners of the event - the popular band "Intonation." Their hits created an unforgettable atmosphere of a sports holiday.

      A large activity zone was also set up at the venue. Guests were impressed by the exhibition of vehicles, interesting master classes, and an arm wrestling zone.

      At the same time, the marathon took place in 60 cities across Russia: from Vladivostok to Kaliningrad.
