Emergency Ministry employees assisted a woman who found herself on an island under the Kanavin Bridge in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod region.
On the night of May 29, a signal was received by the rescue service that a person was on the island under the bridge. Employees of the fireboat "Vyun" and rescuers from the PRPSO of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia headed to the scene by boat.
During the search, they found a woman born in 1976, presumably in a state of intoxication. The victim was lifted aboard and taken to the shore, where she was handed over to ambulance staff. To determine possible injuries, she was hospitalized in a medical facility.
