"United Russia" awarded the winners of the All-Russian competition "Rural Postman"

It often happens that you are also the person with whom one can talk heart-to-heart, who listens to problems and definitely suggests what to do. This mission that you carry on your shoulders is very valuable. Therefore, I want to express my immense gratitude and wish that everything you plan comes to fruition," he said at the award ceremony.

      Vladimir Yakushev also noted that the development of mail in the country is under strict control at the level of the Government, State Duma, and Federation Council.

      "We all understand perfectly well that such an important institution in the country as Russian Post must always be reliable and effective. And, most importantly, this institution must employ true professionals and people who love their profession," he emphasized.

      Let us remind you that this year, more than 3,000 applications were submitted for the "Rural Postman" competition. 86 people reached the finals.

      It is worth noting that 55 postmen participated in the competition in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The region was represented in the finals by the winner of the regional stage, Galina Baranova from Lukoyanov.

      "A postman in rural areas is a special mission entrusted to people who have chosen this profession. They are not just deliverers of letters and newspapers, but to some extent also social workers who help people in rural areas with everyday issues. In all villages and settlements, people know their postmen by face, love them, and eagerly await new meetings. This is especially important for elderly people. Every postman deserves respect and honor; thank you for your selfless work! I wish you success, well-being, and the love of your close and dear ones!" noted the regional coordinator of the federal project of the "United Russia" party "Russian Village," chairman of the committee of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region for agribusiness and rural development, Igor Tyurin.
