Will there be payments for high scores on the Unified State Exam: responds the Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Education

Earlier, the chairman of the Moscow Regional Duma, Igor Bryntsalov, stated to the media that in the Moscow region, graduates who score the maximum points in two or more subjects will receive 100,000 rubles. Teachers who prepare students for perfect scores will receive payments of 150,000 rubles. The Nizhny Novgorod Ministry of Education clarified that similar support measures are not currently planned in the region. However, graduates with high scores who enroll in local universities can expect to receive named scholarships from the regional government. In several universities in the region, first-year students with high USE results are awarded additional scholarships. Furthermore, in the current academic year, the system of incentive payments for school teachers of physics and mathematics will continue to operate. Educators will receive 5,000 rubles for each graduate who passes the USE in physics or mathematics at the profile level or higher than the high score threshold. The high score threshold itself will be determined after the completion of the current year's examination campaign.
