It became known what jobs teenagers most often have in the summer in Nizhny Novgorod.

      May 27, 2026 10:15 Society Employers in Nizhny Novgorod are actively publishing job vacancies for schoolchildren and students without work experience. In July 2025, there were 9,700 such offers available in the market—16% more than in May. The maximum number of vacancies was recorded in September, at the beginning of the autumn business season: at that time, 11,800 positions were offered without experience requirements. The information was provided by the press service of hh.ru.

      Last summer, teenagers aged 14-18 most often considered jobs as packers, assemblers, or labelers—such vacancies were chosen by 11% of applicants. In second place in popularity were positions for waiters, bartenders, and baristas (10%). Following them were laborers (7%), couriers and postal workers (5%), and sales and customer service managers (5%).

      Also among the sought-after positions are call center operators and contact center specialists (4%), sales consultants and cashiers (4%), loaders (3%), cashier-operators (3%), and cleaners (2%).

      Most schoolchildren prefer to work on the employer's premises—this format was indicated by 96% of applicants. Remote work is considered by 8%, and hybrid format by 1%. The shift work method and mobile work are chosen by only 0.3% and 0.4%, respectively. At the same time, several employment options can be noted in the resume.

      Traditionally, the highest number of resumes is published by teenagers during the summer holidays. In May 2025, their number reached 3,400, which is 74% more than in April. The peak occurred in June—5,500 resumes. In July, the number dropped back to May levels, and in August, just before the new school year, it decreased to 1,600.
