The sports complex is planned to be built on Gagarin Avenue. As reported by NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" in the regional Ministry of Sports, they expect to prepare the documentation for construction by the end of 2026. The facility is set to be built under a concession agreement with LLC "Sports Complex 'Torpedo'", signed in May 2024. At that time, the investment in the project was estimated at 2.1 billion rubles. It is expected that the new sports complex will be able to accommodate more than 1,500 people. The building is planned to house a playing and training arena, a gym, as well as accommodation for teams participating in competitions. The final parameters of the project and the start dates for construction will be determined after receiving the conclusion of the state examination, the Ministry of Sports added.
