The production volumes of meat, milk, and eggs have increased in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      May 25, 2026 11:50 SocietyNizhny Novgorod agrarians significantly increased the production volumes of agricultural products in January-April 2026. This is reported by Nizhny Novgorod Statistics.

      72 thousand tons of meat products were produced, which is 16% higher compared to the same period last year.

      A total of 207 thousand tons of milk were produced, with yields increasing by 2%. The average milk yield per cow over four months exceeded last year's figures by 65 kg - this year the figure was 2910 kg.

      It is specified that at the poultry farms in the region, the production volumes of eggs increased by 10% - 421 million pieces were obtained.
