      May 22, 2026 17:11 Economy The State Expertise has approved two more stages of construction for the first phase of the Eastern Bypass of Nizhny Novgorod. This is reported in the Unified State Register of Real Estate. The regional office of state expertise for project documentation and engineering surveys issued positive conclusions for the first and fourth stages. The latter involves the creation of a transport interchange over the Nizhny Novgorod - Kstovo highway. The developer is the State Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "Main Department of Highways." The project documentation was prepared by LLC "Institute of Construction and Design" and JSC "Road Construction Company 'Avtoban'." Earlier, a positive conclusion was received for the project documentation for the second and preparatory stages. In addition, the state expertise approved the project for the reconstruction of the road from Afonino to Nikulskoye, which is being implemented as part of the bypass construction. It should be noted that the bypass construction project consists of three phases.

The second phase includes the construction of a new bridge over the Volga, and the third phase involves the creation of a northeastern bypass of Bor. To implement the entire project, it is planned to conclude two concession agreements. The total cost of construction exceeds 200 billion rubles.
