Nizhny Novgorod human rights activist Dmitrievsky recognized as a foreign agent.

      May 22, 2026 17:58 Society Nizhny Novgorod human rights activist Stanislav Dmitrievsky has been included in the register of individuals performing the functions of a foreign agent. This is stated on the official website of the Ministry of Justice of Russia. According to the agency, Dmitrievsky participated in the preparation and dissemination of materials from foreign agents for a wide audience. He also spread messages from organizations recognized as undesirable in Russia. Furthermore, the human rights activist published false information about the decisions of Russian authorities and their policies, opposed the special military operation in Ukraine, and collaborates with an organization whose activities are banned in the country. Currently, the Nizhny Novgorod resident lives outside of Russia. Also today, the register of foreign agents included Vilya Choynova, philologist Olga Orlova, and the project "After." It was previously reported that Nizhny Novgorod resident Ilya Myaskovsky was removed from the list of terrorists and extremists, where he had been for only a week.
