Nizhny Novgorod IT solutions will be tested for gas station infrastructure.
On May 22, 2026, at 15:44, Economy In the Nizhny Novgorod region, plans are underway to expand cooperation with technology companies and startups in the field of fuel retail. A corresponding agreement on innovation development was signed in Nizhny Novgorod at the CIPR-2026 conference by Gazprom Neft and the ANO "Gorky Tech." The document provides for joint work on piloting and implementing digital solutions at the company's gas stations and in related services. This includes projects in the fields of artificial intelligence, financial technologies, and public catering at gas stations. The coordination of interaction with regional IT companies will be handled by ANO "Gorky Tech" — the project office of the Nizhny Novgorod region government. Experts from Gazprom Neft will participate in selecting promising projects and testing technologies in existing business processes. In addition, the parties plan to launch accelerated implementation programs for developments in logistics, gas station management systems, and digital services for motorists. Dmitry Shepelinsky, the regional sales director of Gazprom Neft, noted that the company already has experience integrating startup products through the corporate accelerator StartupDrive: "Over six years of the accelerator's operation, more than 50 startups have passed through it, and every third project was integrated into the company's business processes — from a training platform for gas station employees to a customer application for motorists. And cooperation with 'Gorky Tech' and the Nizhny Novgorod region opens up access to a new pool of talented teams for us." Roman Renzin, the director of ANO "Gorky Tech," stated that the partnership should help build interaction between large businesses and IT developers. "Regional IT companies are ready to create solutions for real industry challenges, and our goal is to help such projects gain access to piloting, expertise, and further scaling. We are confident that such cooperation will become a powerful catalyst for the development of the entire regional IT ecosystem and the creation of competitive domestic digital solutions," he noted. It is expected that developments that successfully pass testing will be able to enter the company's IT product ecosystem. In the long term, this should improve the efficiency of fuel logistics infrastructure and the speed of customer service at gas stations. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
