CIPR-2026 has concluded in Nizhny Novgorod: main outcomes of the forum
May 22, 2026 16:04 Economy From May 18 to 21, the XI International Conference "Digital Industry of Industrial Russia" (12+) took place in Nizhny Novgorod. Over four days, more than 13,000 people from all regions of Russia and 46 countries, including China, India, Brazil, Serbia, Argentina, and the Philippines, attended the forum.
The exhibition featured 185 booths from Russian and foreign companies showcasing technological solutions. The business program included 165 sessions with the participation of over a thousand speakers. During the conference, more than 350 agreements were signed, including international ones with China, Laos, and Angola.
At the forum, representatives of the government and business discussed the digital transformation of the economy and issues of technological sovereignty. The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Deputy Prime Minister - Head of the Government Apparatus Dmitry Grigorenko, Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev, and Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin. Also participating were leaders of major Russian companies, including AvtoVAZ, Rostelecom, MTS, Gazprom Neft, Sber, Norilsk Nickel, and others.

Opening the plenary session "Made in Russia: Digital Transformation of Industry," Mikhail Mishustin noted that CIPR has brought together developers, customers, experts, and government representatives for the 11th time to strengthen the technological sovereignty of the country. According to the Prime Minister, over the past six years, the share of the IT sector in Russia's GDP has doubled, the sales volume of domestic IT products and services has increased almost 4.5 times, exceeding 5 trillion rubles. Additionally, for the first time since 2022, the export of Russian software has increased by 15%, and the number of people employed in the industry has surpassed one million.
Dmitry Grigorenko, summarizing the work of industrial competence centers, stated that the approach to creating Russian software has significantly changed. According to him, developers have not only replaced foreign solutions but also adapted them to new market requirements. Of the 175 particularly significant projects selected in 2022, 120 have already been completed, and the solutions created are used by more than 930 enterprises.

Gleb Nikitin emphasized that CIPR confirms the status of Nizhny Novgorod Region as one of the leaders of the IT industry in the country. He reported that the turnover of Nizhny Novgorod IT companies increased by almost one and a half times last year, exceeding 97 billion rubles. According to regional authorities' forecasts, the share of domestic software in the regional government will reach 75% by the end of 2026.
As part of the conference, major technology companies presented new developments. "Astra Group" announced the launch of the Astra Cloud on Russian Baikal-S processors. "Rostelecom" presented its development strategy until 2030, with a plan to achieve revenue of 1 trillion rubles. T-Bank conducted the first controlled cyberattack on its own infrastructure in Russia using artificial intelligence. "Rosatom" presented the OKO Book 5 Yoga transformer tablet and the industrial AI platform "AtomMind 2.0."
Additionally, "Russian Railways" together with "Bureau 1440" began equipping the "Sapsan" and "Lastochka" trains with domestic satellite communication. The company "RT-Techpriemka," part of "Rostech," showcased the RMS TechX 25 Pro platform for centralized management of industrial and mobile robots for the first time.
According to the voting results for the best booth at the conference, first place went to "Rostelecom," second to "IKS Holding," and third to "Norilsk Nickel."
More than 300 delegates from 46 countries visited CIPR-2026 on an international mission. Eleven foreign companies presented their developments. For the first time, a delegation from Zimbabwe, led by the country's First Vice President Constantino Chiwenga, participated in the forum. Gleb Nikitin discussed the development of trade, economic, and educational cooperation with him.
Also, as part of CIPR, the digital art exhibition DeCIPRaland took place, bringing together 35 artists and more than 70 works from Russia and other countries. A total of 241 applications were submitted for the open competition, and the digital museum was visited by 4,200 people. With the support of the "Russia - Land of Opportunities" platform, an online neuro-marathon of the "First Cup of Neurocontent" project was held at the forum site.
