The moment of a mass car accident involving the son of the former head of "Luidor" was captured on video.

      May 21, 2026 13:40 Incidents The police shared footage of an accident caused by the 21-year-old son of the former general director of the "Luidor" group, Sergey Kornilov, in the center of Nizhny Novgorod. Recall that the accident occurred around 14:00 on May 20 at the Pokhvalikhin exit. The recording shows how the young man lost control of a Mercedes-Benz convertible, veered into oncoming traffic, and crashed into a Kia. The impact sent the Korean car crashing into a Nissan. The perpetrator's vehicle ended up on the curb after the collision. As a result of the incident, no one was injured.

      Four administrative materials have been drawn up against the 21-year-old driver. These include Article 12.26 (Failure to comply with the requirement to undergo a medical examination for intoxication), Part 4 of Article 12.15 (Driving into oncoming traffic), Part 2 of Article 12.37 (Driving a vehicle without a compulsory insurance policy), and Article 12.33 (Damage to roads, railway crossings, or other road structures) of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation. The Mercedes vehicle has been seized and placed in a specialized parking lot. Furthermore, the police clarified that in 2025 and the current period of 2026, 161 administrative materials have been drawn up against the young man. Of these, 51 are under Article 20.25 of the Administrative Offenses Code of the Russian Federation, which provides for liability for evading the execution of an administrative penalty.
