The budget of Sarov will be reviewed at the meeting of the Duma.

      On May 19, at a meeting of the Planning and Budget Committee (PBC), deputies re-examined the expenditure part of the budget of Sarov for 2026 and the planned period of 2027–2028. Acting Director of the Finance Department Yulia Klyuchevskaya reported that the overall increase in budget funding affected 8 municipal programs — totaling nearly 57 million rubles. Chair of the Audit Chamber of Sarov Olga Veshnyakova presented the conclusions based on the analysis of the draft decision to amend the budget: — the size of the budget deficit for 2027–2028 remains unchanged; — the limits on the size of the deficit established by the Budget Code are observed; — following the examination, there are no comments or suggestions — the budget draft is recognized as balanced and ready for consideration at the city council meeting. At the PBC meeting, deputies reviewed amendments to the budget submitted by colleagues. A preliminary decision was made on each amendment. Some proposals were referred to the reconciliation commission for further development.

      The draft decision to amend the city budget for 2026 and the planned period of 2027–2028 will be considered at the city council meeting.
