      The pipeline was put into operation in the 1970s. The contracting organization has begun major repairs on the large diameter sewer collector (pipe diameter – 800–1000 mm) on Permyakova Street – from house No. 20 to the sewage pumping station at Kovpaka St., 1B. The section, 1200 meters long, is an important part of the drainage system: it receives wastewater from 10 sewage pumping stations in the Avtozavodsky district and ensures the pumping of wastewater from 45 houses, 4 kindergartens, 2 schools, and a university. The pipeline was put into operation in the 1970s, and no major work has been carried out on this section before. The facility is included in the capital repair program of JSC "Unified Utility Operator" for 2026. According to Mikhail Novokreshchenov, Deputy Chief Engineer for Drainage at JSC "OKO," the repairs will be carried out without stopping the acceptance of wastewater, so a large volume of preparatory work has been completed in advance, including the installation of temporary pumping stations and the installation of a temporary pressure pipeline. The chief engineer of the contracting organization, Andrey Kiselev, reported that the technically complex repairs will be performed using the spiral winding technology of polymer profiles, which is widely used for the restoration of large diameter pipelines. First, the collector will be cleaned of heavy sediment, and then a new pipe will be formed inside the existing pipeline. "Depending on the technological processes at the site, between 20 to 30 workers and specialized equipment will be involved: manipulators for delivering materials, excavators, loaders, flushing machines for cleaning the collector, drilling rigs for reinforcing the walls of the pits, and equipment for the so-called winding of the new pipeline arch," said Andrey Kiselev. The main construction and installation work on the site is planned to be completed by the end of the year. After that, landscaping of the work areas will be carried out.
