The director of the opera installation was Yuri Kvyatkovsky. The staircase space was divided into 12 zones that Dante's soul had to traverse on the way to his beloved Beatrice. The audience ascended 500 steps following the hero, listening to Monteverdi and Bach, Handel and Vivaldi, Henry Purcell and Antonio Lotti. At the top, by the monument to Chkalov, musicians and vocalists from the Nizhny Novgorod Opera and Ballet Theater welcomed the guests.
Thus, the first International Arts Festival "Alpha Human" (6+) started brightly and unusually. It will unite more than 10 urban venues and present a program at the intersection of music, science, and contemporary artistic practices. The festival will last until May 31. Details here.
