Three of them were hospitalized, while the others received assistance on-site. This was reported by a representative of the region's healthcare sector, Alexey Nikонов. The specialist noted that the statistics on the number of victims resemble data from July of last year. Additionally, the expert reminded that clinical trials have proven the effectiveness of consuming crushed ice with water. This drink cools the body from the inside better than just cold water. All due to physical chemistry: the phase transition of solid ice to liquid can absorb more thermal energy. Furthermore, consuming water with crushed ice helps prevent hyperventilation and improve blood flow to the brain.
