In the Kstovo district, it was decided to withdraw two closed public baths.
May 21, 2026 19:19 Economy In the Kstovo district, there are plans to withdraw two public bath buildings that ceased operations about six months ago. The issue was discussed at a meeting of the permanent commission of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma on municipal property. One of the buildings is located on Svobody Street in the village of Rabotki, and the second is on Molodezhnaya Street in the settlement of Zhdanovsky. Both single-story buildings are municipally owned and are assigned to the municipal unitary enterprise "Vodokanal" under the right of economic management. It became known during the commission meeting that the baths are currently not operational. For the subsequent inclusion of the real estate in the authorized capital of the joint-stock company, the objects were proposed to be included in the forecast privatization plan. The commission members supported this decision. It was previously reported that the "Kovalikhinsky Baths" in Nizhny Novgorod are planned to be modernized.
