Officially registered media outlets, as well as owners of personal pages and channels on social networks registered with Roskomnadzor, are invited to participate. The competition is held to encourage the coverage of best practices in the field of housing and road construction, infrastructure development, housing and communal services, and urban environment within the framework of the national project "Infrastructure for Life," as well as to raise public awareness about the changes occurring in these areas. "The work of media representatives is extremely important. It is thanks to them that people learn about the current situation, changes, and innovations. For the construction and housing and communal services sector, which makes a significant contribution to the development of the country's economy and the improvement of citizens' quality of life, timely, objective, and accurate communication with the audience is crucial. The successful result here lies precisely in the work of the media and social media. The "Creation and Development" competition gives us the opportunity to thank those who contribute to the coverage of the industry's results and remind everyone of the importance of journalists' work," commented the Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, Irek Faizullin. This year, for the first time in nine years of the competition, a separate nomination for bloggers has been introduced, highlighting the growing role of social media authors in covering urban environment and infrastructure development topics. "Journalists and bloggers act as a link: their professional perspective on various issues helps establish a dialogue between the authorities and society, as well as ensure quick feedback. Moreover, their work contributes to explaining complex processes and shows what lies behind each implemented project. The "Creation and Development" competition was created precisely to recognize those whose materials contribute to the important process of creating comfortable living conditions in our country," added the General Director of the "Territory Development Fund," Vasily Kupyzin. The competition is being held for the ninth time and has established itself as a sought-after professional platform: in the previous competition, the jury reviewed over 500 works from 66 regions of Russia. The organizers of the competition are the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the Territory Development Fund, and the competition is held with the support of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation and the Federal Road Agency (Rosavtodor). "For the road industry, it is fundamentally important that the results of the work done are not only tangible in practice but also understandable to people. Undoubtedly, it is journalists and authors of professional materials who help convey to the widest possible audience how large-scale infrastructure projects are being implemented, what is changing in the regions, and what benefits this brings to citizens. Behind every kilometer of new or modernized road, behind every modern transport facility, lies the hard work of hundreds, thousands of specialists—from engineers and designers to builders. And in turn, it is the professional work of the media that allows us to demonstrate this work and its results—accessibly and interestingly. Thus, we solve the most important task—forming public trust in the transformations that are currently taking place in the road transport complex and throughout the country as a whole," emphasized the head of the Federal Road Agency, Roman Novikov. The acceptance of works will last until June 30, the winners will be announced on July 20, and the awards ceremony will take place in Moscow in early August.
