Traffic lights are being modernized at the intersection of Vedenyapina and Leskova in Avtozavod.

      On May 16, 2026, at 07:30, Society In the Avtozavodsky district, traffic lights will be modernized at the intersection of Vedenyapina and Leskova streets. The electronic auction was announced by the Center for Organization of Road Traffic (CODD), as reported on the government procurement website. The work will be carried out as part of the implementation of an intelligent transport system under the federal project "Systemic Measures for the Development of Road Infrastructure." The initial maximum contract price is 16.6 million rubles. Applications for participation in the auction are accepted until May 25, and the results of the contractor selection are planned to be announced on May 27. The work must be completed from the moment the contract is signed until May 31, 2027, but not earlier than March 12, 2027. Funding is provided in the city budget for 2027. About 1% of the amount—almost 166 thousand rubles—will come from the municipal budget. The remaining funds will come from the regional budget as part of a subsidy agreement between the Ministry of Transport and Highways and the administration of Nizhny Novgorod. It was previously reported that more than 104 million rubles were allocated for the modernization of traffic lights at six sections of the Moscow highway. The highway is planned to be fully synchronized as part of the implementation of an intelligent transport system.
