Scary messages about hantavirus allegedly found in a passenger at Chkalov airport began to spread in Nizhny Novgorod's social networks. Rospotrebnadzor called this information fake, according to the representative of the regional health department Alexey Nikонов.
He noted that to prevent the introduction of dangerous infections, the "Perimeter" system continues to operate at the airport. Residents are asked to remain calm and not to succumb to the panic that such rumors are trying to sow.
Earlier, we wrote that the risk of the "Andes" virus entering the Nizhny Novgorod region from the MV Hondius liner is extremely low. Passengers of the vessel are being monitored by doctors, and the situation is under the control of WHO.
