Nizhny Novgorod residents became winners and prize recipients of the national award "Golden Bear."

The award ceremony took place at the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry. The award has been held since 2010 by the Association of Enterprises of the Children's Goods Industry (IDT) with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia in accordance with the objectives of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy."

      The project "Dobroteka" of the Nizhny Novgorod State Budgetary Institution "Multifunctional Center 'Family'" became the holder of two awards in the "Leaders of Childhood Infrastructure" stage. The organization took 2nd place in the "Social Project" nomination and also became the winner of the public voting.

      "The 'Dobroteka' project provides families with children the opportunity to use essential items, play, developmental, and rehabilitation equipment for free. Today, the 'Dobroteka' fund has more than 400 units of goods, and over 240 families have already used the services of the service. Using the service allows families to save from 30 to 80 thousand rubles during the period of a child's arrival," said the director of the GBU "Multifunctional Center 'Family'" Tatyana Smetanina.

      In the "Best Products for Childhood" season of the "Golden Bear" award, the Nizhny Novgorod brand "Lunatop" won in the "Best Goods for Moms and Babies" nomination. The expert evaluation of the goods was conducted by representatives of leading retail chains and companies specializing in children's products.

      "For us, participation in the award is public recognition and understanding of the importance of what we do. We create mats that help organize a safe and comfortable space for play and development for children from birth. We are glad that our product received high praise from the professional community and retail representatives," shared the founder of the "Lunatop" brand, Tatyana Shutova.

      The winners of the award were chosen based on the total points during the public voting on the award's website and the evaluation of the expert council. The expert commission assessed the nominees based on a number of key criteria: innovation, effectiveness, public recognition, social responsibility, quality, as well as special criteria depending on the nomination.
