Nizhny Novgorod dacha owners were told how to reduce their electricity bills in the summer.

During this period, it is possible to reduce electricity costs by transferring the social consumption norm to the place of actual residence. This was reported by "TNS Energy Nizhny Novgorod."

      The social norm is the established volume of electricity for the region that is paid at a reduced price. Usually, it is tied to the address of permanent registration, most often to an apartment. However, when moving to a dacha, it makes more sense to apply the preferential tariff where the family lives in the summer.

      To take advantage of this opportunity, it is necessary to register temporarily at the dacha address. This can be done at the MFC or through the State Services portal. Without temporary registration, transferring the social norm is not possible.

      After that, it is necessary to submit an application to "TNS Energy Nizhny Novgorod" - either in person at the customer service center or remotely through the website, personal account, or mobile application.

      The company also recommends connecting electronic billing and autopayment. This allows for monitoring charges, avoiding late payments and penalties. One email can receive bills for two addresses at once - for the apartment and for the dacha.

      When the temporary registration period ends, the social norm will automatically revert to the address of permanent registration. No additional application will be required.

      If one of the properties is outside the service area of "TNS Energy Nizhny Novgorod," it will be necessary to obtain a certificate of removal of the social norm from the previous supplier and provide it to the new one along with the application for the period of temporary registration.

      Additionally, it is important to submit meter readings monthly by the 25th for both the dacha and the apartment. If no one resides in the urban apartment and there is no consumption, it is sufficient to send unchanged readings.
