Nizhny Novgorod residents became winners of the "Golden Bear" award.

      Nizhny Novgorod residents have become winners and prize recipients of the national award in the field of goods and services for children, "Golden Bear." The award ceremony took place at the Congress of the Children's Goods Industry. The award has been held since 2010 by the Association of Enterprises in the Children's Goods Industry with the support of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, in accordance with the objectives of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." As noted by the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Maxim Cherkasov, participation in industry awards allows enterprises to present their developments to a wide audience, receive professional evaluation, and strengthen their market positions. In the "Leaders of Childhood Infrastructure" category, the "Dobroteka" project of the Nizhny Novgorod State Budgetary Institution "Multifunctional Center 'Family'" received two awards: second place in the "Social Project" nomination and victory in the public voting. According to the center's director, Tatyana Smetanina, the "Dobroteka" fund features over 400 items, and more than 240 families have used the service's offerings. Utilizing the service allows families to save between 30,000 to 80,000 rubles during the period of a child's arrival. In the "Best Products for Childhood" season, the Nizhny Novgorod brand "Lunatop" won in the "Best Products for Moms and Babies" nomination. The expert evaluation was conducted by representatives of leading retail chains and companies specializing in children's products. The brand's founder, Tatyana Shutova, noted that the company's products received high praise from the professional community and retail sector. Winners were determined based on the total points from public voting on the award's website and the assessment of the expert council. The commission considered innovation, effectiveness, public recognition, social responsibility, and product quality. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, there is a cluster of children's goods manufacturers, which includes 110 producers of clothing, furniture, specialized hygiene products, and other goods for children. Participation in the cluster allows enterprises to receive additional support at regional and federal levels.
