Experts have identified the leader in user experience among operators in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      On May 14, 2026, at 13:35, Society Specialists from the Russian company Vigo, a developer of software for assessing and optimizing data network quality, recognized MegaFon as the best in user experience quality in the Nizhny Novgorod region. With the operator's mobile internet, residents of Nizhny Novgorod can upload photos faster, listen to music online, watch videos, and play video games.

      The specialists evaluated over 50 million tests at various points in the region. For this, the company used the Vigo UX Scope metric. It takes into account parameters such as the number of sessions with a waiting time for the playback of online media content exceeding 3 seconds, the number of freezes per minute of playback, and the share of gaming sessions with lag duration—when the subscriber cannot control the game due to network issues—exceeding 500 ms per minute of gameplay. Analysts also considered the share of sessions in which the average file upload time for photos to the device was over 700 ms.

      According to the results of the expertise conducted in the first quarter of 2026, the highest Vigo UX Score was recorded for MegaFon.

      "Nizhny Novgorod region is one of the key digital clusters in the country, and ensuring stable connectivity in such an area is a serious challenge and a responsible task. The results of the study confirmed that we are successfully addressing it. Just last year, our specialists built and modernized over 400 base stations, and since the beginning of this year—more than 270, with work carried out both in the regional center and in remote towns and villages," said Alexey Mikhailov, director of MegaFon in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
