Nizhny Novgorod residents are invited to lectures on family scenarios and maintaining inner balance.

      On May 14, 2026, at 12:59, the Society of Parents, Grandparents, and Guardians of Young Nizhny Novgorod Residents invites you to free lectures (6+) on the topic of family scenarios and maintaining inner balance. They are organized by the regional center "Vega" as part of the "Lectorium" project.

      Both sessions will take place at the end of May, but those wishing to attend can already register in advance.

      The first meeting will be held on May 23 from 14:00 to 15:30. The lecture on the topic "A Suitcase with Heritage, or Family Scenarios and Models" will be conducted by Ekaterina Steblina, a child psychologist and existential psychotherapist.

      "At the meeting, we will discuss why adults should look back at their parental family, what happened in our childhood, and how it affects us and our children today. We will talk about our origins, family scenarios, and how to start changes to better understand our parents, ourselves, and our children," explained the speaker.

The session is designed for kids aged 8-10. The children will learn about the diversity of flowering plants, their structure, and their role in nature in a playful manner.       The second meeting will take place on May 30 from 14:00 to 15:30. Parents can enhance their self-regulation skills at the master class "Calmness, Only Calmness." The session will be conducted by Alyona Kostina, a systemic family psychotherapist. She will present the method of Russian psychologist Hasay Aliyev, which is based on unconscious movements and aimed at stress relief.

      "We will introduce parents to methods that allow them to maintain inner balance, control anger, and recover more quickly after stress. I am sure these are useful skills for everyday life," noted Alyona Kostina.

      Pre-registration is required to participate in the session via the link: vega52.ru/lektorium-parents. For children aged 8-10, there will be a session "Visiting Professor Irina" at this time. The kids will conduct simple but very effective chemical and physical experiments themselves, learning about the properties of water, air, and familiar objects.       Both lectures will be held at the children's center "Bublik" in the "Switzerland" park (Nizhny Novgorod, Gagarin Ave, 35A).
