In Vyksa, work continues on the reconstruction of the biological wastewater treatment system.

      The project involves the construction of wastewater treatment facilities with mechanical treatment elements from the wastewater treatment plant in the rural locality of Shimorskoye to the wastewater treatment plant in the rural locality of Doschatoye. The length of the networks will exceed 11 km. To date, the general contractor (JSC "Vyksa Vodokanal") has already laid more than 90% of the route. Work is underway to lay the pipeline in the remaining sections, install wells, and shut-off valves. A sewage pumping station has also been purchased. In the near future, after the geodetic layout of the site, specialists will begin its installation. At the end of June, the delivery of equipment for the second sewage pumping station is expected. The work is planned to be completed in October 2026. The implementation of this project will allow:

      - to decommission the wastewater treatment plant in the rural locality of Shimorskoye;

      - in the future, to connect additional subscribers (2500 people) to the wastewater network of the rural locality of Shimorskoye and the rural locality of Blizhne-Pesochnoe;

      - to improve the environmental situation in the Oka River.

      The project is being implemented as part of the federal project "Modernization of Municipal Infrastructure" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life."
