      Delivery robots began bringing orders to residents of Nizhny Novgorod starting May 14. This was reported by Governor Gleb Nikitin in the MAX messenger.

      In the first phase, the robots will operate in the Sormovsky, Kanavinsky, and Moskovsky districts. The latest fourth-generation delivery robots have appeared on the streets of Nizhny Novgorod. Their features include the ability to travel long distances and increased maneuverability.

      The robots' cameras recognize traffic light signals, and a special sensor quickly reacts to unexpected obstacles in their path. "In the future, as the IT campus develops, we plan to continue cooperation with Yandex to expand the geography of robot delivery to the hilly part of Nizhny Novgorod," noted Gleb Nikitin.
