The Ministry of Construction approved the construction of a sports complex in Nizhny Novgorod.

      The regional construction ministry has issued a permit to LLC "Laboratory of Childhood" for the construction of a sports facility in Nizhny Novgorod, as reported in the registry on the agency's website. The document does not specify the address and specific characteristics of the future building. However, in February 2026, a non-governmental examination approved the project for a rhythmic gymnastics center on Vaneeva Street, near house No. 110B and the Olympic reserve school. The same company was the client. The project provides for a building with variable number of floors from one to six levels, with a total area of 16,400 square meters. Inside, there will be a main sports hall and an administrative and utility block. There are also plans for stands for 1,500 spectators: a permanent one with 700 seats and two removable ones with 400 seats each. In addition, there are plans to build a hotel with 70 rooms nearby, which will be connected to the sports complex by covered walkways.
