The RFU Disciplinary Committee will evaluate the behavior of the goalkeeper of "Pari NN" Medvedev after the match with CSKA.

The Control and Disciplinary Committee of the Russian Football Union (RFS) will hold a meeting on May 14, during which it will review the incident involving the goalkeeper and captain of "Pary Nizhny Novgorod," Nikita Medvedev. The agenda states that an assessment will be made regarding the possible unsportsmanlike behavior of the goalkeeper based on media reports. The player himself has been invited to the meeting. According to the RFS disciplinary regulations, unsportsmanlike behavior by a player or club official before, during, or after a match may result in a fine or even disqualification. The maximum penalty can amount to up to 60,000 rubles.

Recall that the incident gained wide resonance after the match on May 11, in which the Nizhny Novgorod team lost to CSKA with a score of 1:2. After the second conceded goal, Medvedev lashed out at the fans, who had unfurled banners in support of former head coach Alexey Shpilevsky before the game, with the inscription "Our coach! We are with you." He cursed at the fans and stated that it was the former coach who led the team to the current situation. He also added that if the fans support Shpilevsky, they can cheer for him separately. A video of this incident quickly spread in sports communities.

In the mixed zone, the goalkeeper continued in the same vein: he refused to communicate with the press and said that such fans are not welcome at the stadium. Later, the club's general director Vitaly Karasev apologized for the captain's words, emphasizing that the player was overwhelmed by emotions.

Vadim Garanin, who took over the team after Shpilevsky's departure, also commented on the banners in a flash interview, and he did so quite sharply.

In addition to the incident with Medvedev, the CDC will also consider Garanin's systematic departure from the technical area. It was previously reported that Vadim Garanin summarized the match with CSKA. NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" has channels on Telegram and MAX.
