"Stay home!": The captain of "Pari NN" cursed at the fans after the defeat to CSKA

      After the match between "Pari Nizhny Novgorod" and CSKA, a scandal erupted. In the penultimate round match, the Nizhny Novgorod team led 1:0, but within two minutes, the army team turned the game around to 2:1. For "Pari NN," this defeat became their eighth in a row. The nerves broke not only for the fans but also for the players. The goalkeeper and captain of "Pari NN," Nikita Medvedev, reacted sharply to the behavior of the fans. Banners appeared in the stands in support of former head coach Alexey Shpilevsky.

      After the second conceded goal, Medvedev lost his temper and addressed the fans in a rude manner.

      "Who is your coach? This is what your coach has brought you to! Shame! You are still displaying this here. Go support your coach then! I've been tearing my ass here for you for two years! What has he done for you? Our coach... Did he gather you once? Shame!" shouted the captain, accompanying all with foul language.

      In the mixed zone, emotions did not calm down. The goalkeeper refused to communicate with the press and stated that with such support, it would be better for fans not to come to the stadium.

      "Let two or three people come who sincerely support us. The others, who are staging these actions, can stay home and cheer for another team. I've been tearing my ass for this team for two years, I look at the stands - they have hung up banners. In honor of what, I don't understand? Guys, stay home then, you don't need to support the team like that. Those who really support us will come and support us. And we no longer expect you in the stands, thank you," Medvedev said.

      Later, the general director of "Pari NN," Vitaly Karasev, apologized for the captain's words, emphasizing that the player was overwhelmed with emotions.

      "I want to convey this thought: for us, every support, attention, banner, fluid, chant is very important right now. Because we all want to win. There are no indifferent people among us. We are preparing for 'Rubin'," he noted.

      Currently, the Nizhny Novgorod team occupies 15th place, having 22 points. In the final round, they need to beat "Rubin" and hope for a loss of Makhachkala's "Dynamo" in the match against "Spartak." Earlier, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, assessed the chances of "Pari NN" to maintain their place in the elite division.
