Six people beat a deaf-mute to death in the entrance of a building in Avtozavod.

      On May 12, 2026, at 11:16, Incidents: Six suspects have been arrested in the murder of a deaf-mute in Nizhny Novgorod, the regional court reported. The crime was committed on April 9, 2026, on the landing of one of the buildings on Strokina Street in the Avtozavodsky District. The accused beat the man to death. A criminal case has been initiated against the detainees for murder committed by a group of individuals by prior agreement (paragraph "j" part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The investigator requested the arrest of all six. A sign language interpreter was present at the court hearing. The court ruled to send the accused to a pre-trial detention center until June 8 inclusive.
