Oksana Shumaeva has headed the Territorial Fund of Mandatory Medical Insurance of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      May 12, 2026 11:30 Society Oksana Shumaeva has been appointed director of the Territorial Fund for Mandatory Health Insurance of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. The corresponding order was signed by the governor of the region on April 29, 2026, as reported in the MAX channel of the fund. The director of the TFOMS carries out overall management of the fund's current operations. His responsibilities include implementing state policy in the field of mandatory health insurance in the Nizhny Novgorod Region, as well as interacting with legislative and executive authorities of the region and other state structures on issues related to the organization and development of the compulsory health insurance system. As noted by the editor-in-chief of MIA "Statsionar-Press" Alexey Nikonov, Oksana Shumaeva previously headed the financial and economic department, as well as the planning department for the territorial program of mandatory health insurance within the structure of the Nizhny Novgorod TFOMS. Prior to this, from December 2024, the fund was headed by Galina Baranova. In this position, she replaced Svetlana Yermolova, who currently serves as the Minister of Health of the Kursk Region.
