During the reception with the chairwoman of the City Duma, Victoria Nikolaeva, the residents of Babino spoke about a serious issue they have been facing for seven years: the roof of their apartment building systematically leaks. Constant humidity has led to the appearance of mold – in one of the apartments, two out of three rooms are uninhabitable. The women handed a collective appeal to the Duma speaker, hoping for assistance in resolving the situation. Victoria Nikolaeva clarified when the major repairs of the roof are scheduled and whether the residents have contacted the Capital Repair Fund (CRF). The head of the management company "Clean City," Alexander Gordeev, was also present at the reception. He reported that current repairs were carried out annually: patches were applied, and aerators were installed for ventilation. However, these measures did not help. According to the management company's director, the regional program plans the roof repair for 2036-2040. In 2024, the company submitted a request to postpone the deadlines but was denied due to a lack of funds. Previously, residents had contacted the district deputy, Evgeny Minervin. After his letters to the administration, the management company, and the CRF, it became clear that to postpone the repair deadlines, a current technical inspection must be conducted according to new rules. Recently, the owners held a meeting and decided to conclude a contract for these works. Chairwoman of the City Duma Victoria Nikolaeva emphasized: "While we are exchanging letters, people are living in apartments that are unfit for habitation. If the situation poses a threat to the safety of life and health of residents, an urgent postponement of deadlines is needed."

      As a result, Victoria Nikolaeva decided to send appeals to various authorities.
