If the pool is equipped with a generator, salt turns into "soft" chlorine. Such water is safe for the skin: there is no irritation of the mucous membranes, dryness, or feeling of tightness. "Without expensive chemicals, the water in a 'salty' pool stays clear longer and won't 'bloom' — algae and bacteria don't thrive there," the dacha owners were reminded. A weak saline solution will benefit the body: it reduces swelling, tones muscles and joints, and heals minor scratches and irritations. Nizhny Novgorod residents are advised to add 3–4 kg of table salt per 1 cubic meter of water. Only "Extra" or highest grade salt should be used. "No iodine or additives.
