The first stop was the local perinatal center, where the tour was conducted by acting chief physician of the Central District Hospital Victoria Figareva and gynecologist, ultrasound doctor Dmitry Abdulin. The guests were shown around three floors of the maternity hospital and informed about plans for its redesign and renovation. - The first floor is planned to house a women's consultation room, – said Dmitry Safaevich. – It will be isolated, with a separate entrance. There will be an examination room and a room for patient consultations, as well as a children's play area. Next will be the ultrasound room and a procedure room. New equipment for the perinatal center is already arriving. Currently, the gynecological department is located here – it will be moved to the floor above. The gynecological ward of the day hospital will be updated. On the second floor, there will be rooms for round-the-clock stay for pregnant women, updated pre-delivery and delivery blocks, and a resuscitation unit. The pre-operative and operating rooms will remain in their place. On the third floor – delivery rooms and pathology rooms. Next, the guests proceeded to the clinic building, visited the dispensary room, and talked with medical staff about patient care. About 50 people undergo dispensary examinations at the clinic daily. - The Semyonov medical staff provides medical assistance not only to residents of their district but also to nearby areas for certain disease profiles, – said Minister of Health Galina Vasilyevna Mikhailova. – I would like to note that the Central District Hospital faces enormous tasks in bringing its material and technical base in order. We managed to enter the modernization program for 2026-2030 with a total of 517 million rubles allocated for the capital repair of the perinatal center. Today we have confirmed that the specialists have approached the project competently. I hope that by the end of 2027, residents will receive a full-fledged maternity institution. - The district administration is monitoring the modernization process of the Central District Hospital, – added the head of the district Dmitry Sergeevich Poluektov. – Federal funds for repairs are planned for 2026-2030, and procurement procedures will be announced soon. I hope we will have a good contractor, and by 2027 we will manage to complete the repairs of the first and second floors of the perinatal center. Currently, 84 doctors, 51 paramedics, and 224 junior medical staff are working in the district's healthcare system. We are working to attract young specialists through the "Rural Doctor" program, providing them with housing. After inspecting the healthcare facilities, the delegation moved to the territory of the "Khokhloma Painting" factory, where its director Vladislav Valov demonstrated the woodworking production. There is an idea to create a modern creative cluster on the factory's territory as part of the federal project "Professionalism." If the application is approved, the former medical point building, spoon-making workshop, and workshops are planned to be transferred to the Semyonov Industrial and Artistic College for educational purposes.
