An old income house in Sormovo will be restored for 79.7 million rubles.

      On May 7, 2026, at 14:02, Culture and Leisure: An old apartment building from the early 20th century will be restored in the Sormovsky district. The project is financed by the DOM.RF bank, the organization's press service reported.

      The building is a cultural heritage site with an area of 1,740 square meters, located at 2 Zavodskoy Park Street. This house was built in the late 19th to early 20th centuries for the residence of the managers and leading specialists of the "Krasnoe Sormovo" plant.

      During the Soviet era, it also housed a branch of DOSAAF. The building became the only one in Nizhny Novgorod constructed under the supervision of architect Capitoliy Dulin.

      Later, the apartment building was abandoned. The internal layout of the building remained within the capital walls, and the historical interiors were only partially preserved. It is expected that the renovated apartment building will feature an administrative center with public and exhibition spaces.

      The investor is participating in a preferential loan program for the restoration of cultural heritage sites with an interest rate of 9% per annum. The first tranche of 79.7 million rubles has already been allocated.
