A PIMU student was convicted for a forged certificate.

      May 7, 2026 11:07 Incidents A student of the Privolzhsky Medical University has been sentenced for a forged certificate to resolve academic issues. This was reported by the unified press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      As established by the court, the student of the Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education "PIMU" of the Ministry of Health of Russia acquired a fictitious certificate of temporary incapacity for work. He presented this document to the university to extend the deadline for eliminating academic debts.

      During the court proceedings, the young man fully admitted his guilt and expressed remorse for his actions.

      The court found him guilty under Part 3 of Article 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for acquiring, storing, and using a knowingly forged official document that grants rights and imposed a sentence of six months of restriction of freedom.

      The verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
