"Firstly, we use the software and hardware complex 'Dozor', which automatically records the parking of cars on green areas. Our vehicles are equipped with photo and video cameras, a monitor, and a system unit. The software captures the license plates of vehicles located in green areas: 'Dozor' 'grabs' the license plates of violator cars parked on green areas. The ruling on bringing the owners of such vehicles to administrative responsibility is issued automatically without calling the offender," Alexey Chizhikov explained about the operation of the new complex.

      Another raid of 'Dozor' took place in the Avtozavodsky district. "We recorded 86 violations, and in total, since March 1, about 2,500 rulings have been issued across the city using 'Dozor', totaling over 8 million rubles," he said, emphasizing that violations in Nizhny Novgorod are most often recorded on Permyakova, Dargomyzhsky, Narodnaya, and Berezovskaya streets. Last year, about 40,000 rulings were issued using the 'Dozor' complex for illegal parking on lawns.

      Secondly, as Alexey Chizhikov added, if a car is found parked on a lawn without a license plate, it is seized and moved to a tow lot. "After identifying its owner, they are brought to administrative responsibility," he noted.

      ATI specialists reminded that green areas are not only those where lawns are laid out and bushes, trees, and flowers grow, but also those places that, due to repeated violations of parking rules, have turned into dirt and trampled ground. "Even in this case, it will be considered that there are signs of an administrative offense provided for by Article 3.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses. The maximum penalty for this violation for individuals is 5,000 rubles, and for legal entities, it is 150,000 rubles," Alexey Chizhikov explained.

      Nizhny Novgorod residents who noticed the work of 'Dozor' in their area admit that they try to park their cars in parking lots and pockets. "Lawns are very important for the city. And cars abandoned on lawns spoil not only the greenery but also the curbs and sidewalks. This is unpleasant and dangerous, primarily for our children and pensioners who rest in the yards," said Nizhny Novgorod resident Tatyana Lvova.
