The prosecutor's office is checking the compliance with passenger rights at Nizhny Novgorod airport.

      On May 3, 2026, at 10:11, the Transport Prosecutor's Office took control of the situation regarding the rights of passengers at Chkalov Airport in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the press service of the Volga Transport Prosecutor's Office.

      The reason for this was the delays of flights due to the implementation of the "Carpet" plan at the air harbor on the evening of May 2 due to the threat of a drone attack. By the morning of May 3, two flights were canceled, and three more were delayed. Restrictions at the airport continue to be in effect.

      Transport prosecutors are monitoring the observance of passenger rights and ensuring that they are provided with services as stipulated by federal aviation regulations.
