      The Nizhny Novgorod International Airport has officially returned to its normal operating schedule after a period of forced downtime. As confirmed by Rosaviation, all previously imposed restrictions on the use of airspace have been lifted, as the threat to flight safety has passed. Experts emphasize that the measures taken were preventive in nature and aimed at protecting passengers and crews.

      The lifting of restrictions followed a challenging period for the aviation hub: it should be noted that the Nizhny Novgorod airport was previously closed; cancellations and delays of flights were recorded due to the activity of unmanned aerial vehicles in the sky over the region. During the blockage, seven flights were disrupted, including departures to Tashkent, Sharm el-Sheikh, and Russian capitals. To minimize inconvenience, some travelers heading to Moscow were transported by ground transport at the airlines' decision.

      Currently, the situation in the terminals is stabilizing, and airport services are gradually returning to their usual service rhythm. While waiting, passengers received necessary informational support from representatives of carriers and ground service staff. Despite the restoration of navigation, tourists are advised to check the current status of flights on the official online display before heading to the airport.

      Experts note that the rapid restoration of transport communication became possible after the confirmation of airspace safety by defense agencies. Nevertheless, citizens are urged to remain vigilant and immediately inform emergency services at the number "112" if any suspicious objects are found in the surrounding areas.
